Why this exists
Almost every small business in India already runs on WhatsApp. Orders, questions, complaints, bookings — it all arrives there, usually on one person's phone. That works until it does not: until two people need to answer, until someone leaves and takes the history with them, until a customer asks something at eleven at night.
The official WhatsApp Business Platform solves that, but the tools built on top of it are mostly priced and designed for large companies with an implementation team. Everyone else gets a stripped-down version with the useful parts held back for the enterprise tier.
We built the opposite: the full product — shared inbox, AI agent, automation, campaigns, store integrations — at a price a small team can justify, that you can set up yourself in an afternoon.
Four things we try not to compromise on
These are not values on a wall. They are the reasons particular decisions in the product look the way they do.
Say what it costs
Three numbers make up your monthly spend and only one of them is ours. We publish all three, explain the two we do not control, and refuse to print a rate card we cannot keep accurate.
Your list is yours
Your number is registered to your business. Your templates are approved in your name. Your contacts export in one click. Nothing about this product depends on making you hard to leave.
Admit the limits
WooCommerce has no cart webhook. OpenCart needs a developer. Numbers on the API cannot use the phone app. You will find all of that written on our own website, because you would find it anyway — later, and more expensively.
Build for the small team
Most tools in this category are priced and designed for enterprises with an implementation budget. This one is built to be set up in an afternoon by the person who also does everything else.
An independent product on Meta's platform
AptoAir is built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Meta — we are a software company that builds on their API, in the same way a thousand other products do.
Practically, that matters to you in three ways: your WhatsApp Business Account belongs to your business rather than to us, Meta bills you directly for conversations with no margin from us, and if you ever leave, your number and templates go with you.
What we are not
Being clear about this saves everybody a sales call.
- Not a grey-market WhatsApp sender — we use the official API only
- Not a reseller of your data; we do not sell, rent or pool contact lists
- Not a CRM — we message customers, we do not run your sales pipeline
- Not an enterprise contact centre with a six-month rollout
- Not a clinical, financial or legal records system
